No, you're not overreacting. This kind of stuff is just awful on so many levels. A huge life stress that you feel you can't share and that no one recognizes--instead they criticize you left and right. There is another, more active board, that includes several active members who are either current or former partners of a man who offended. Not all chose the same path but all support each other. I am with you. My ex husband and father of my 3 kids was just sentenced to 100 years in jail for 2 counts of sexual assault and 3 counts of sexual misconduct. Even though we were divorced, this is one of the worst pains I have ever felt in my life. I have no idea where to turn and most people don’t understand. It’s the loneliest feeling in the world.

Yes there are others out there going thru this too. Just remember, this too shall pass. It does, it’s been 9 years and I have my good days and bad days. I have a PET scan coming up because I didn’t take care of myself. I drowned in pain, guilt of what did I do wrong, being strong for family, now I am major sick for being so stupid. Snap out of it, take anti depressants, join exercise or running companions, get involved with your kids and live life. There is life after this, you did nothing wrong. Be good to yourself and kids. Love yourselves. ❤️

I'm sorry to hear all you're going through. I also am putting my kids first and myself last. I know that I didnt do anything wrong but still feel ashamed and guilt. I know I def need to to seek out a counselor. In one sense I dont want to take away "papa " from my kids. But I also dont want them around him. I am sick of dealing with my dads suicidal and mental issues. Does that make me bad? Have you felt this way?

I feel absolutely the same and its their dad. Their mental health gotta come first:/
