there is a group here in MD , that is working hard to get the registry taken down , or at least get alot of people off of it , It is called FAIR , I think the name of the web address is ,,,,, http://fairregistry.org/ They (we ) need people to join and help out !

spock152, if you're interested, and anybody seeing this thread, at the top of the Daily Strength, Family of Sex Offenders home page, there's a section entitled 'Resources for Information'. There's a lot of good info there to get somebody started in advocacy/activism, how to get involved and help our cause. The more people and resources we get, the sooner reform happens.

Maryland FAIR is a great RSOL state affiliate, very active. Brenda Jones, the MD state organizer, is also the current director of RSOL National.
