Wow! Finally, people are beginning to comment on these blogs using their Facebook accounts. Anyone who has Facebook that can advocate for RSOs needs to comment with good, strong, rational posts there or else real world testimonials of how the SOR negatively affects life and the general welfare of society. Please, this is a member of the House of Representatives from Massachusetts. If he wrote this article he may listen. Please, comment for those RSOs that aren't allowed to have a Facebook account. This is good that this Representative is starting to "get it" but once again this Representative indicates that the people to be concerned with are pedophiles - that all abusers are pedophiles Arrrggghhhh

It's a start. Give the guy some credit for being a politician who is saying this.

Step one : discredit the effectiveness of the registry
Step two: offer a better way to protect our kids
Step three: start shifting money to the better method
Step four: slowly begin eliminating or tiering off groups from the registry

I agree ivy with your progression. And advocate, I know it's frustrating but he did say pedophilia is a clinical disorder. So it sounds like he is on the right path. This is just very exciting that he is even willing to stick his neck out like he is.
