Does anyone know anything about protective custody. Like if my son request it does anyone know how that works? Is he put in solitary? Also the prices of commissary in Florida prisons. Hope the questions don't sound silly : ). Thanks

PC also known as punk city is where they put you in a cell by yourself you are locked down 23 hours aday , Or they will put you in a setting with other people in PC there can be as many as 20 or more other inmates in PC with you all in Protective custody ! Either way it is not fun (not that prison is fun ) but you have way less movement while in PC !

can help you with any knowledge of news of protective custody tho i've been told that solitary is not good.

as to prices? i don't think the prices at any of the commissaries are any good. fed prisons have better prices but the privately run ones? the private outsourced ones are higher.
