Sadly, men don't get this offer. I believe they only offered it because of negative publicity on it because it was a gay relationship. I'm glad her case was in the spotlight, I'm hoping people see just how wrong this law is and remove the restrictions on age; if it's consensual, it's consensual, period.

I was supposed to have a ten year registry, according to my plea deal, but the state police listed me for life anyway, said you CAN'T PLEA BARGAIN MEGAN'S LAW! and it doesn't matter anyway because when adam walsh kicks in you will be a lifer anyway. And they were right, the judge said he can't do anything about SORNA so he reduced my probation of 7 years to 2 years and said I don't have to attend mandatory sex offender treatment classes anymore, pissed off my probation officer, but at least I got some relief.

treborjo, do you live in FL? If so, I wonder if that will be the case with her. Then again, they changed the charges, so I think that they couldn't....but then again, the govt will do anything it wants to do.

I hate saying this but the truth is homosexual get judged by a different standards it wasn't because she's a girl. The standard is true think about it homosexual are not being taught abstinence at school. Here in California Homosexual are allowed to use the opposite sex bathroom at school this just became a state law. This applies to adults too.

If someone beats me the police may talk to the person but if I am a homosexual that person would be arrested it goes on and on these laws are wrong.
