Feeling so lost and frustrated

My SO husband and I live in Floriduh. We have an 8 month old and another baby on the way. We currently live with my sister and other roommates in a shifty trailer park. We want to move out in January and I'm having the hardest time finding other places that aren't complet shit holes for the sake of our kids. I'm so frustrated because the park we are in does rent to own trailers which we don't want to do because they are crap. I just feel so upset and discouraged. I so badly wish we could move back to Virginia. I can't vent to many because they don't understand. I wish plAces would give people a chance. The saddest thing is there are some really shitty trailer parks around us and we can't even get into those! Pathetic.

It's just so sad that many people are in similar situations. This is what scorched earth and not in my backyard policies create. SO's are in permanent purgatory and there is little they can do but move to try and move to the better states but that can be so expensive! And the funniest thing to me is that these laws make it more likely for sex crimes to occur and not less!

I'm sorry you are going through this Bst, keep your head up and don't give up hope.

Is your husband on parole/probation? If not, why can't you move out of FL?

So sorry to hear the family is going through this. The registry harms not only the registrants but over 3 million family members of, including children which the registry is to protect. We are W.A.R.. women against registry..

If you would like to speak with someone on your situation hit the W.A.R National link on top of page and go to contacts. If volunteers are not available someone will get back to you. Being a Florida resident I know the added burden on fl families with our stricter laws. Don't give up.
