federal prison to house arrest question

My Hubs gets out in Aug and his case manager was suppose to give him the name of his PO but we haven't heard anything. He went to a group meeting yesterday to talk about the process of release but he said it was just a bunch of crap and wasn't helpful at all. So, I am hoping someone here might be able to help me. He is in the federal system and we live in FL. I would like some info on the process. He will be going from prison to house arrest. Does anyone know if there are stipulations on how long we have to get him to see his PO? Do I need to make an appt with his PO for when he gets out? Will he be on furlough or just released and what restrictions does he have if it's a travel furlough? Will he be released to me or just released? Any info would be appreciated.

We live in Florida as well and have experienced the federal system..other then house arrest. Hub was on Federal supervised release which gives more elbow room. Of what I have heard about house arrest is he may be wearing a ankle bracelet but given time for shopping, church service, doctors appointments and employment..which most likely be a requirement. It is pretty restrictive and is to be taken and approached seriously as it is the one of the quickest ways to get another case and a violation if you don't follow the rules.

Prior to his release he will be required to fill out a form with the address where he will be living. The uspo may make a visit there before his release and the uspo will be there within 48 hours after his release. He also has that amount of time to get his Florida I.D and register with the local P.D/sheriff. He should be given a list of restrictions/rules. You can ask the uspo for a copy when they come to check the residence.
