My Ex, son's dad, does not want anyone to know that our son got charged with S.O.

At first I was quiet with going to court and of course my family and closest friends knew, but that was it. Once my son had to take the plea, I told more people. Somehow his Ex's mother's sister found out and he freaked out and called me because he said it came down to my name. I told him that it is what it is and I told you that I was going to tell people. I don't care what people think! People need to be educated on this and if I have to put flyers out, that is what I will do! I told him that I am holding my head up high because I know the truth and God knows the truth! I don't care what other people think! This is our son! I think this is the reason people don't know about the S.O. reasons why you get the name.

Yes, I know it affects us, but I am not going to back down. I figure the more people know how you get S.O. on you the better it is. As they say, HIT THEM WHERE IT HURTS!!! RIGHT IN THE POCKET!! I will let as many people know that I can.

We had a man that came into our office a few months back and he had S.O. on him. One of the girls said something and I looked at her and I told her, I told you that my son had the ugly name on him. She looked at me and was like, what? I said yes, he has sex offender on him. She apologized so much. I told her that it was okay but that people don't realize that everyone with that name on them does not mean they raped someone. I continue to tell her things from what I have learned on here.
