In the blog called "The Most Boring Radical" I read an article titled Totalitarianism that really hit home with me. So many times I find myself wishing for a simpler life, but a purely "it's either this or it's that" argument doesn't extend into reality. I loved the author's use of driving laws and practices as a metaphor for crime and punishment; it brought smiles to my face and then tears to my eyes.

Good judgment comes easily for some and not at all for others, but judgmentalism brings no good to anyone.

Okay, tried this once, and lost it all. For clarification and ease, when going to http://sexoffenderresearch.blogspot.com/, up at the top of the page, it's broken down into sections. Community Room, Bills in Congress, Court Decisions..Now, what I do is click on 'Community Room', which should bring you here http://eadvocate-community.blogspot.com/. You can see a variety of topics shown for research, PLUS, if you scroll down about halfway, you can see the list of blogs that have been updated most recently, so you can see if there's anything new. I get my info this way a lot.

Secondly, for my own organisation, RSOL National, is listed here http://nationalrsol.org/. Again, at the top of the page, clicking 'About Us' will show a pull down menu. This has (or should) all the available, active RSOL state affiliates listed. So you can see if your own state is listed, or if you're looking for other state info, it'll show you what states are currently covered. http://nationalrsol.org/affiliates just click on the state you're interested in to bring up a link and info on that state affiliate.

Dave, I visited the SOSEN website, but found no new articles - only old headlines with links to continue reading that were disabled. Their contact tab suggested referring to their FAQs first before sending an inquiry, but there isn't any FAQ section. I returned to the contact tab and sent an email to their communications leader, but my message was returned as unable to deliver. What's up?

Hi october2014. as I understand it, SOSEN is currently going through some changes, the SOSEN leader, Lynn Gilmore has stepped down from leading SOSEN, and I'm having a difficult time finding out any current news or plans. We'll just have to be patient and see what transpires there, hopefully it'll be something positive.
