FACT: 95% of these attacks go unreported. Only 10-25% of students found "responsible" for sexual assault are expelled. Attackers are more likely to graduate while survivors drop-out.
The Campus Accountability and Safety Act would work to change that by increasing individual campus accountability (especially that of athletic departments and other campus groups), fostering increased collaboration between campus and local authorities, and establishing new support resources for survivors

I won't sign this. There are too many people accusing others of rape and sexual offenses in that, innocent people are charged and have to live a life of a 'sex offender' which is a hard life.
My son accidentally downloaded 2 child porn videos when he was downloading over 2300 music videos. The government charged him and he had to take a plea or go to trial, even tho our forensics proved his innocent. After over $150,000 defending him forensics and a whole bunch of other expenses my , then 20 y.o., son went to federal prison for 30 months. He's been out 1 year but now has been labeled as a sex offender and has 15 years of really tough supervised release. Sex offenses are bad but our government has taken it to another level. I will not put my signature on something that might make another innocent person have to live as a sex offender.
