I met with my current probation officer he will be retiring very soon. He told me I should try for an early release of probation. My crime took place in Brevard Co FL. Any ideas on who I should addrees thec letter to will help greatly. thank you

Maybe talk to the judge that sentences you. Get a letter of recommendation from your current PO.

I would also add that if you can I would talk to the lawyer or defender that represented you in court if you had one. I think they can also help you out. You may need to file a motion in the court to get your probation shortened.

I just started my probation 3 months ago. I also hope I can get my 6 years shortened somehow. Would make looking for work much easier I think

thank you for your quick responses from my understanding the judge who sentenced me has since retired and my Massachusetts PO tells me every time he files a progress report with FL his suggestion has been to take me off probation he sees no need for it .My probation has been almost 10 yrs and if completed will be in 2022. thank you.
