Does anyone know if a SO can be transferred from a

I was wondering if anyone had any experience whether a SO could be transferred from a FCI to a FCC?

As of my release from federal custody in 2003 any inmate with a "violent offense" (and they consider ANY sex offense regardless of the details "violent") anywhere in their past regardless of whether it is the instant offense (that being served) was prohibited from being designated to a camp.

Yep - specifically look at page 38 where it states F- Sex Offender - as a public safety factor which prevents this inmate from being designated to a camp.

To see just how ridiculous the BOP policy is take a gander at chapter 5 page 8 where it says even if there is something in the inmates past that wasn't a conviction it SHOULD trigger the public safety factor. What sort of crap is that?
