I was upset by what they had on the site as well. They are all once again grouped into one sterotype. Frustrating

It's kind of sickening to me as a mother when they talk about the victims being someone's child. They definitely ARE and I can't imagine what the parents of a child victim go through, but the "offender" is someone's child as well.
I think my biggest issue is that the whole thing has gotten so emotional that nobody thinks rationally anymore. Too many people believe that all offenders are monsters, and none should ever have anything resembling a "life" again. With virtually every other offense, most people believe that once you've served your time or done whatever the judicial system deemed fit punishment, you should be able to re-enter society and live somewhat like a normal human - but not with sex offenders.
