My hubby has been in 3 months of his 11/12 month sentence for the possession of cp charge. He was doing ok but in the past couple of weeks I have noticed him being down more than usual. he tells me in his letters he is sleeping more and what not. I try to keep his spirits up by writing and sending pics and books. We talk once a week for 20 min and i remind him he will be coming home soon. Any other loved ones expirencing this with inmates. And any suggestions?

I do not have the same experience as I met my boyfriend after he was out of prison. I think you are doing a good job. Your husband may still be adjusting to being locked up as it takes a while. Hopefully they will find a job for him which should help pass the time. Also your husband will need to learn to deal with his feelings. Just concentrate on being the best person you can be while he is gone and the time will fly by

Ok the sleeping thing well thats just a way to kill time everyone does there time different.
It is possible that its hit him what he has done and how this is going to effect you both for the rest of your life....its also possible that his coped a bit of crap in there because of his charges.
Keep doing what yo are doing and let him know you are there if he want to talk.
