Curfews here in WI are by the PO/agent that is supervising the person. For my husband, he works nights mostly so a curfew that is at night is just pointless. It should vary depending on the Agent and their policies in that office. At first there will be a curfew, of what time will be varying, and he will be able to ask for extensions and things on that depending on the needs he has work wise and other things...

I've only heard of curfew for probation. This is in Minnesota.

Yes, sorry .. for probation. But there's nothing in his paperwork that says anything about a curfew.

It won't cause it is at the discretion of the PO/Agent.

They can make it as early or as late as they choose or they can choose to not apply one at all. But more than likely it will be something like 10 or 1030 until your son can prove or convince the agent that they don't need one or need it extended to a later time frame.

The Florida curfew is only for those on state probation/parole and I would imagine it's the same for most states. Since your son is under federal jurisdiction, it's the federal rules for curfew that would apply if there are any.

I'm sure his po will tell him if he has a curfew and what time it is. My son's on state probation in MD and never had one (with the exception of Halloween). He DID have to call his po every day for the first 6 months or so.

When I was on probation I had a curefew for the first 90 days from 7pm to 7am but after that I could stay out as late as I want I think every state has a curefew

I would check with his PO. My hubby had to be in at 9 at first, then it went to 10 after 6 months...with exceptions for work or special approved events and then after a year, it was 11.

He has no curfew. His PO said nothing about it and its not in his paperwork. His PO said my son was real low risk. So im glad for that

My hubby was determined to be low-risk too...his PO really wasn't concerned about him not doing what needed to be done, but the PO still had guidelines he had to go by

I'm really glad I move here from Floriduh because my son would have had residency restrictions, curfew and who knows what else.
His PO was the one who said my son could have a computer. We didn't even ask for it, but the PO said we'll go back to the judge here in PA and change that.
A few times the PO would go into his schpeal about how everyone has demons even if they don't look like it and that my son really needs to take SO treatment and that the judge in FL put the wording down wrong about not having to take treatment. Our new attorney says we'll work on getting that clarified.
CoolRich sent info on that one Dr. here in PA so I'm going to call his office once everything is clarified by the courts. But what was weird when the PO would look back up from reading my son's case with a look like 'what is this kid doing here' and mentioned that my son doesn't fit the profile. Wish we could tell him my son accidentally downloaded those cp but you can't do that.. at least not at this point. PO said that my son was looking good with a job, family who cared for him and a good attitude.
We're still keeping our eyes open and mouths shut, smiling and nodding and being aware that these people are NOT our friends and they're there to put my son back in prison at any point.

Nak, some of them ARE good guys who really don't want to put them back if they don't need to go back. You're right, they're not your friend but some of them can be fair. Your son's PO sounds alot like my hubby's PO. We could tell that he KNEW something was up. Esp. when he came one day to give my step-daughter notice that her abuser was getting off probation (There IS only one PO for all the SOs in our county) We told him...'she doesn't live here, she lives w/her aunt and uncle in the house where she was abused" and explained it the best we could w/o actually going into how false allegations were made against my hubby for revenge. I think he was able to put 2 and 2 together tho'...it wasn't long after that he told my hubby"pay off your fines so i can cut you loose, you're a waste of my time and I mean that in a good way"

We're in philly and i know ours was the only PO for SOs in that office. I knoe you're in Pa but what county. My son says that maybe later he'll tell this one what the truth is but not now..thats a tough call because you nevrt know how they'll it.
