cop being charged with murder

im watching the news conference now the DA said there is not enough evidence that the other 6 cops did anything wrong so they are only going to charge one cop with murder

At least the DA had the guts to bring charges against the one cop opps 2 cops are being charged not one

District Attorney Tony Rackauckas announced at a news conference that he's charging Officer Manny Ramos with one felony count of second-degree murder and one felony count of involuntary manslaughter. He faces a maximum of 15 years in prison if convicted.

Officer Jay Cicinelli is being charged with one felony count of involuntary manslaughter and one felony count of use of excessive force, this is crap 2nd degree murder???????? come one if that was anybody else it would be first degree murder they beat that man to death!

First degree murder is very hard to prove... they would have to prove intent, motive, etc... Remember there is a burden of proof, even when we already know the cards are stacked against sex offenses when it comes to murder, most people can identify to wanting to 'kill someone' and what can happen in a fit of rage.

If the DA wants to convict and this goes to a jury of that officer's peers, he may not win with a first degree charge.... We all know they try to charge and take to trial only things they can get away with. When it comes to sex offenses they can get away with a lot more.
