Yes I realized that the biggest mistake I made in my life was trusting the system and teaching my children always tell the truth and step up and take responsibility for your actions. Because my son did just that. I should have taught my children when it comes to legal issues and law enforcement to exercise your Constructional rights and remain silent – even if you feel you have nothing to hide. Anyone who is a parent and reads this thinking my child would never do anything wrong needs to heed this warning. Teach them!
