In my opinion this guy's problem is probably early inoculation with a sex-phobic religion that sees all sex/ sin. The interviewers question (referring back to pedophiles/sex offenders) "Did you think of yourself as a kind of monster, like them?" just tops the whole thing off. My "prescription?" prostitutes cost less and probably aren't as 'dirty'-minded' And as prostitutes they might be illegal in his community but they are certainly "consenting adults"
As far as the movie "Code breaker" That man was homosexual. He was caught up in the prejudices that use the pejorative word "Pervert" to denigrate any one and everyone as "monsters"/ Hannibal Lectors/ sadistic sexual serial killers roaming the darkness (mostly of our own minds) The problem is that as children we were raised to believe such prejudices. We fear shunning/ banishment/ hell and don't see that it is our society/ religion/ our own belief system that needs to be changed. Hence people "are willing to cut my balls off" to stay married and stop "sinning" even in thought. (and no doubt are willing to self mutilate / castrate/ undergo electro-"therapy" aka cattle-prod-therapy offered by Fundamentalist "therapists" or even celebrate that he hasn't had an erection in over a year in order to be accepted by a wife who "reads all the trash magazines") It's sort of a socially approved M/S dance he and his wife and the therapists "offering" castration play for $$$.

Actually, in my opinion, this man is sick with self-hatred made worse by a society that approves of chemical castration for "monsters" What this man could use instead of abuse is to be granted the dignity every human being deserves and to be shown some R-E-S-P-E-C-T simply because he, like all the rest of us, is a fallible human being. aka an irreplaceable miracle struggling along just like the rest of us.
