An article published today on the Los Angeles Times' Website proves that sex offender recidivism is among the lowest (if not THE lowest) recidivism rate for committing new crimes of the same category. (NO, parole violations and other technical infractions of supervised release ARE NOT considered recidivism - the person who wrote this article is actually a moron!)
These new statistics, published by the California Department of Corrections, place this recidivism rate at 2% (two percent)!!! Ironically enough, those offenders had the highest rate of parole violations than any other offender because of all of the absurd post-release requirements and all of the things that can trigger a violation. i.e. a dead battery in an ankle bracelet, unable to find a job or a place to live, etc.
If these new statistics don't scream to the sensibilities of everyone with an IQ above 30 about how insane things have gotten and because of fake and false earlier statistics, then I don't know what does!!!!

Guy Impound they keep making new laws. haven't learned to tell the future. wouldn't be so bad if they stuck to the judges rulings, but then they change....evolve to something else. (not minimizing rape this is just an example) it's like let's say you get a speeding ticket. you know you'll get a fine, but then they also say... ok anyone who got a speeding ticket now has to take a driving class for 3 years (35 dollars a class 2 x a week). then they say ok anyone with a speeding ticket on their past must submit dna, it's for the protection of the children. then they say anyone with a speeding ticket must pay 150 dollars a year to help the circuit courts webpage. then they say anyone who has a speeding ticket on their record must have a different colored lisc plate, because we want to inform the public that you might be a potential hazard driver. then they say. well you made a bad choice to drive so we don't think you should vote either. we don't want people who made bad choices to have the power to make bad choices when it comes to voting; it's to protect the children. you can input any crime in here at any level.
also guy why don't you tell this 8 year old he should have thought about his choices before he did this:
