We just learned that my fiancee who lives in Texas was re-arrested for 2nd Degree Indecent Exposure!
However, let me just provide the background and you tell me...From 2003-2009, he alllowed his then girlfriend and her six year old daughter to move into his home in Austin. He did this because he felt sorry for the child causse she was illegitimate and he tried to be a father figure. She was treated like she could no wrong and learned to manipulate her mother to get what she wanted. Spoiled and ungrateful I am told by my fiance'ss family and his friends who knew them all.
As she grew up, the child had real emotional and moral issues. She was arrested at 14 for drug paraphanalia, she was also pulled out of a car at age 11 when they found her with a boy fooling around. My fiancee tried to e a dad, but was getting disgusted and decided to not marry the mother who was also an alcoholic as it would be too much for him. Also, he learned that this girl at age 16 was dating his good guy friend who was and still is 13 year her senior. That really disgusted him from both his friends perspective, her mother's who condoned it and from the girls perspective.
So...when John puts his foot down and says no more of this under his roof, she goes to the police, files a sexual assualt charge claiming since she was 14 years old till that time he raped her over 200 times. Meanwhile, she neglected to say that he has Parkinsons and is diabetic and his medications would prevent him from raping anyone. He is also on disability since 2005. She was 19 when she filed this report. She's 21 today.
At any rate, right after they file the report, she and her mother went back to John's very nice and accommodating house that he owned and worked hard for all his life to acquire and continued to live with John until his arrest.
After a full year of pre trial nonsense, John stupidily admitted that he did drugs in the presence of the minor, the DA slapped him with permanent registration, and 8 year community probation. The girl was not pleased so she files a 1 million dollar law suit against him. He threw them out, sold his house to pay for legal fees and declared his hunting camp as his homestead. The girl tried to sue him in civil court for the hunting camp and is furious as there's no money so she gets a friend of hers only named as "The Victim" in the bill to say that John came into her room and touched her friend.
So now John sits in jail, waiting to see what will happen. I am at wits end as I don't understand how this girl can go around lying (even in her handwriting she admitted that she does not know why she lies) to keep going to the DA and convicing them with more lies.
HOW DO WE STOP THIS??? Why can't the DA do an investigation on the veracity of the allegation being made? How can one person go and make up things and get away with it? This can just continue to keep going and going.
In my opinion, this is harrassment, in my opinion. What can we do?? Any advice? Has anyone experienced something like this?

The things that would need to be done will cost money, which it sounds like he is limited currently. He of course needs an attorney.
You could do some private investigation but what usobserver folks seem to do is far more effective it would seem.
