Nak, I understand why you would be frustrated for your son. We all agree it was atrocious what happened to him, the government should have to prove he at least opened and looked at the files he inadvertently downloaded. That goes with their legal theory that viewing the files re-victimizes the children in the CP. Since it wasn't viewed and it was inadvertent it should not have been punished. But it's Floriduh, go figure.

However, what I hope I can get you to realize is that while your son is in fact innocent, he is classified as a sex offender. As such, any improvements for sex offenders in general will also make it better for your son.

This radio broadcast is incredible. It has the lady Peek went to see at John Hopkins talking. It also has experts in the field showing everyone the truth! These people from freakonomics are objective, and they are digging through the evidence and showing everyone what is actually going on.

I know this does not directly relate to your son, but be happy that the truth is continuing to filter out. If the tide ever turns and people ever realize how ridiculous these laws are, I would imagine your son would be one of the first types of people to get some sort of leniency.
