LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- A former child actor came forward Wednesday claiming to have had an extramarital affair with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

"Arnold [has] a very physical, sexual, voracious appetite," child actor Gigi Goyette said. Goyette claims that the two initially met before Schwarzenegger was married and began their relationship when she was 16 and Schwarzenegger was 27. ok my question is this since he had sex with her when she was 16 and he was 27 will he have to register as a sex offender? since they seem to be arresting and charging people with sex offense crimes years ago

Since this was when he was 27 and that was a long time ago, is there a time frame after which one cannot be charged with a past crime?

But really, wouldn't that be something if he was sentenced with a sex crime, imprisoned, released and had to face the rest of his life as a registered sex offender.

i don't see why it wouldn't because they seem to be going after priests for things that they have done years ago and teachers and all sorts of people so why should he be any different?

In this case, I'm not sure on the laws of consent (such as if the girl that lied to my bf had been 4 months older, he wouldn't have been charged at all). But there is not statute of limitations on sex crimes (which I do not agree with, I know a woman with munchausen syndrome who accused her father of sexual abuse, (shortly after she faked brain cancer for three years) she now admits she made it up but hasn't done anything about it because she doesn't think it'll change anything...)

But yeah if he weren't a politician, I'm sure he would have been arrested, charged and sitting in jail...But he is a politician with a great lawyer. Nothing will come of it, unfortunately (not that I believe there should be just because of the age) but it would be nice to get a taste of his own medicine.

wouldn't it be a real eye opener if people in high places who had done something in their past had to register. i bet some laws would change then.

There was a senator from Utaw that admitted to underage sex after being blackmailed. He was never charged and It all disapeared.

Talk about double standards!!!! This really angers me to read this and know this high and mighty man stood with John Walsh shoulder to shoulder to show his solidarity with the laws against SO's and the registry!! WOW
