The UK accept if you have a birth right. I know of someone from the US who is a serious offender who resides here. One of their parents is British born. I'm not sure about others, we can move pretty much freely around the EU.

When its all said and done with my husbands case no matter what I am ready to leave the country. My husband gets job offers all the time in all the parts of the world.

I have always wanted to live abroad. I find my views on life in general don't fall with Americans anymore. Everyone calls this the land of the free but as I get older I feel less free on this great land.

I agree, mialee. I know there are issues everywhere and no place is perfect, but we are both just so done here. It's very disheartening having to work as hard as we are for every single last thing we have. I'm not thrilled about having to learn another language, and there are many English-speaking lands around the world, but if it came down to it, I'd rather learn another language and live abroad than continue living here in the US.

Considering the reaction of some in Europe to the influx of Syrian refugees, imagine the reaction should a large number of RSOs from the USA decide to expatriate.

Canada will NOT take an RSO, or most any felon.

Canada wont even let you holiday there we were told. We were given a list of places that we can't visit whilst on the register, Canada, US, Hong Kong, Philippines were the main ones. Germany have a wonderful system for SOs. I've been looking into France, it seems good but then I worry someone will wonder why we are there. They get so curious they google my husbands name(I think we are all guilty of overwhelming curiosity at times) then it will all be out in the open again.
