Well-written and thoughtful articles promote opportunities for rational remarks, allowing people to think about what they've heard and make civil comments while engaging others with both likeminded and differing opinions. Civil discussion will do more to convince some folks than emotional rants and name calling. That being said, the words from our hearts carry passionate, strong messages, too, to other folks. This is not a one-note issue, is it?

It makes me happy to see that the truth is seeping out. Slowly but surely logical people who value evidence based practices are starting to hear and interact with the truth from reporters such as this man.

Rofl. She is just crazy sometimes. This is classic Val, not quoting any studies not giving any of the facts. "You can't fix broken" also applies to her awful rhetoric. With no factual evidence to support it her stances she is just spewing opinions. Where does all this emotional anger with out logic come from?

Again our best argument to her is 93% of the children are abused by people they know and know well. Stranger danger is way overblown! Of 797,500 children reported missing in 1999, only 115 were stereotypically kidnapped by a stranger. And of that 115 only 57 were sexually abused. Those numbers are staggering! We spend all our money on the registry trying to stop the 7% and we do nothing for he other 93%.

Val do some research. I will debate you any time, but at least make an intelligent effort instead of just giving your opinions. You have a knack for quick witty banter but you have zero substance behind it.
