Advocates for sex offenders will convene in Los Angeles for the 5th Annual National Reform Sex Offender Laws conference from August 29 through September 1.

Thanks for posting this. I can't go this year but am realizing that the only way to make change is to get involved so me and hubby will be at the National RSOL convention next year. I have also joined WAR (Women Against the Registry). There are several other groups working hard for necessary changes. Thanks again for posting this.

It looks like there is an Early Bird Special for Registration until the end of the month.

@linacarl is right... the only way to make a difference is to, well, make a difference. Even beyond this web site. Attending this conference is one way. There are many other ways. But someone's gotta do it.

The hotel rates have been extended until Aug. 5, so if you are going, these are some good accommodations for about $100 a night AFTER taxes.
