advice on a hold that has showed up

My son was sentenced to 10 years in sc prison in Jan. as most of you He has been trying to work...to get money and good time.he had a medical hold and got it lifted...now he just found out there not letting him work because of a charge that is 10 1/2 years old. He was put on probation in fl in 1999?and because he lived in sc he got it transferred and finished his probation in sc. now he has an escape charge showing up from fl. for 1/18/2000 . Any ideas how i can help him take care of this. I don't think people will even talk to me will they..

Hang in there Susan! It seems like there has been an error in paperwork, not of his probation due to an "escape." I am holding the option of some form of communication that will bring this to rest, although I do know these things take time. My suggestion, if it feels right to you, is to offer the solution to something BIGGER for resolution. I hope that others can offer you some hard advise you can take action on, while I help you hold this in prayer ...

Do you have documentation where you were approved to move to SC from Fl? Do you have documentation that he was released from probation in SC? I would them contact the court in FL and send them "copies" of the paper work and have the escape charge lifted. You have to go to the originating court in Fl that issued the escape charge.
