Hi--
Starting to feel really nervous about BFs court date tomorrow. Since it's the first one we've had to go to (lawyer went to the last one alone a couple of months ago, said we didn't have to be there), I don't know what to expect, what's going to happen or even how long it's going to take or what happens next. The lawyer gave us some hope once he saw everything (which I personally don't think is really that much honestly, but I know nothing) that they had, but I know the way this stuff goes it could still go sour.

What is the context of the court date? Is it to set a date for trial? We had so many court dates before my boyfriend's case actually came to trial. Everyone of them was nerve wracking - we had to get up early, dress up, drive into town, go through security, wait for docket to be called. I got sick to my stomach every time from the stress of it. Most of the time, they would call him up, speak to the defense attorney and DA representative and then set a new court date - that went on for two years before the actual trial began. Just playing with people's lives - that's what it felt like.

Those court dates are nerve wracking no matter what. Can't count the number of times we were in and out of there. If they are talking about dropping the most serious charge and no jail, that sounds like it would be a good deal.
Thought about you and bf yesterday but got busy in the afternoon and forgot to send a message. Glad all went better than expected. Will be thinking about you two in a couple of weeks when you have to go back.
