Hi all, haven't had the internet in a while... I have REALLY missed this group. I try occasionally to read it on my phone for motivation, but its too hard to type on my phone to respond. Things have been really rough here, we're both barely staying afloat. Found out I was pregnant the middle of March(not planned, but not unwanted..), but lost the baby two weeks ago.. That's a whollllleeee other story but I would like to share the silver lining with all of that-

my mom and I had not been on speaking terms since she found out about my man being an RSO, and I think she FINALLY realized how bad it was hurting me.. I had to have an operation following the loss.. and we invited her to dinner afterward (it was a day procedure, and I was STARVING and actually feeling great from the anaesthetic... I see know why michael jackson was hooked on propofol!) she didn't want to go but saw my dissapointment so she reluctantly went along.... got a couple drinks in... and had it out with my man. And things have been so much better since...just confirms my feelings that things happen for a reason.

Things have been rough though... an emotional roller coaster for both of us, compounded by his meddling ex (the one that put him in jail). She created a facebook group about sex offenders that posts their registry information (she's "so passionate about the cause"....though she never made this page until two weeks after seeing him for the first time at a child support hearing... and seeing my face.. him.. happy... with a stand-up woman...) she found me somehow on FB and started harassing me, and then made that group

well now she's been posting my profile picture and name on the group, and the group is now growing by leaps and bounds, almost to 1k members. I'm afraid for my own reputation for work, in my job, everyone knows everyone and word travels fast. I'm afraid of vigilantism. His PO told me to go to the prosecutor and get a no contact, but they told me its a civil issue and I have to get a lawyer. My neighbor whom I used to get along with, now wont speak to me since the cards came out (even though I gave her a heads up, and she was understanding) mostly its her drunk abusive boyfriend.. they call the fire department on us every time we have a small bonfire in the backyard, despite us having a permit.. (just childish stuff to send us the message, 'we don't want you here".. though I was "here" first....)

Are there any support groups on FB for famiy members? Ive been considering making one. would anyone join it? Lot of posts here lately about children and family members needing heard.. FB is a very powerful platform for that. My profile has been deleted TWICE now thanks to her posting my name and picture, somehow, even though I block her and tried to keep up with blocking all l the members of the group, they hunt me down and then she rallies her hillbilly cronies to report me as a "fake page being used by a sex offender" which is not the case, but of course I have contested this with FB and they have done nothing (even though if they actually LOOKED at my page they'd see all my posts, convo's, etc. are all consistent with me, my writing style.. etc...)

I feel that I am stuck right now with a foot in two places: I want to raise awareness, to be vocal, be heard, be confident.. not ashamed, not willing to hide...

but then again I see how much trouble can come from this, and how being hidden is peaceful.. quiet... and less stress...

But I feel that we need a voice and a presence. Social media is so powerful... maybe FB isn't the right place but I feel so frustrated right now and helpless. Like these pea-brained idiots can do whatever they want, bully and badger, but we are stuck with little option to fight back for ourselves....Maybe a FB page would help make our presence a little less hidden.....
