I would like to introduce myself. I am registered as TxFosterMom, just joined last night/early this morning. Still trying to learn my way around, clicking on the different topics and making some posts. I stumbled on to the site by googling Help for Sex Offenders. I am a foster mom of an offender in TDCJ. I just starting visiting him reguarly about a year or so ago now, discovering that none of his family (brother or sisters) come and I am his life line to the outside. I am trying to gain knowlege concerning the laws etc concerning SO. What I have learned so far has tarnished my confidence in our judical system.
I am very glad I found this sight so I have a life line to others who are also dealing with the System. I hope that I will become a help to others also as we travel through this time together. So Thankful for this site and forum and look forward to meeting you.
