I'm trying to find more info on simple possession of cp. I know our government made it a federal crime in 1991 but what was the punishment before this happened?
I found it Child Protection act of 1977 before then it wasn't a crime I assume.. I'll have to read it. I have so much stuff to read and I think it's really good that there is a lot of talk about these laws with all the papers both supporting and opposing. We;re talking about it as it's gone from such a small amount of SO and now we have enough to fil a city with just SO alone. These laws are getting worse and I hate to say it, but that's good for my son because there are more outcries. When this all happened to us 2 years ago we felt like this was something that just didn't happen to people and this was a fluke and my son will have no way out because 1 voice is not going to help. But I'm part of a community. and that community is getting bigger. With each conviction there are whole families affected by this and we have more voices to scream out about the injustice of these laws.
