Families of Prisoners Support Group
This community is dedicated to families that have been disrupted by prison. Having a loved one incarcerated or having been incarcerated comes with its own unique challenges that require support and understanding. Join the group to find others who know what you're going through, and to seek advice or share your experience.
My fiancé has reoffended and is most likely going to get 10 years fixed, 20 years indeterminate. Because this is his second offense, this is considered a good deal. He is currently in county until the sentencing. My personal computer is still being held as evidence - even though nothing was found on it.
We have been together 16 months. I made life choices based on him not reoffending. I can no longer afford where we chose to live together and will move again at the end of the year. I have a lot of support, including our families, and a great connection with my Higher Power. Even with all that, I am scared of what I will have to learn how to navigate next. Just when I'm feeling emotionally stable, something else comes up that I get to deal with and learn from.
I choose every day to be in this relationship. I choose every day to be his Power of Attorney. I choose every day to find places and people of strength to help me. I do not expect different results. I am working on acceptance. I hurt and I am scared.

I would work out your money its expensive having a loved one in so a bit of a budget that you both agree to can help.
