I am so miserable lately that I can't stand myself. I have no patience with anyone and just feel aso angry all the time. I know this time of year is hard but I've been dealing with this for 7 years now and I've never felt like this before. Everytime my husband calls I feel like all I do is bitch about all the things that are going on at home. The sad thing is he is always trying to make me feel better and then I cry and tell him I'm sorry for complaining. My life is one big stess ball. I live at home with my daughter who is an addict, my son and his wife who do not get along, my two grand-daughters who fight all the time lately and then there's miserable me. Financially we are all stuck here, I wish I had someplace else to go but I don't we barely survive as it is. I hate this time of year I miss my husband and really need to see him soon. Unfortunately he is 600 miles away and I just can't afford it right now, I just feel s lost and alone.

I am so, so sorry that you are in this miserable situation. This time of year can be so hard on people, let alone in such stressful times. Do you have any means of getting a prescription for an anti-depressant? I had to start taking them some years ago and I am not a firm believer that if taken properly, they can be helpful. You have every reason to be angry and depressed. Your life has been turned upside down, and your heart ripped out. You live with tremendous stress day and night. No wonder you feel angry and sad. You've had to be strong for so long, try to take care of yourself.

Aww Pat. I am sorry. I can totally relate (as you saw in my post last night). I think it is normal to feel like that at times. I too have been dealing with this for about 7 years, and for some reason the past few weeks have been a little extra difficult. I will be praying for you and your family!!

I know it sounds crazy, but sometimes I just get in my car and scream as loud as I can until my throat hurts. I do it until the tears start to fall which then usually leads to bit of laughter after I realize just how rediculous I am or whould look to others. Sometimes it is just screams and sometimes I say all of the things I wish I could say to others but never would. I am glad you can recognize that what you are feeling is anger. It took me a while to identify it myself and realize that feeling angry is NORMAL and completely acceptable given our situations. This time of year is sooo difficult and for me it feels like the days are just passing so slow. Whatever it is that you are feeling, just let it out. Whether in your car or right here, don't bottle it up. Hey maybe if you try my car trick you can smile knowing that some crazy girl across the country might be doing it too. :) God Bless and big hugs.

Here's an idea that may make some of you laugh. We all decide what time of day we will all go into our cars and scream. Then we envision all over the United States, Australia, and the UK, us crazy, women are screaming! Just think of it.

It may be really therapeutic, if we all know we are screaming out our frustrations at the same time. Maybe we could get a punching bag, and put a judge, cop, or guard's picture on it and slug the thing to death. That may feel good too.

I am so sorry...Sending positive thoughts to you.. I hope it gets better and it is times like these I wish we were all real life friends that could get in the car and whisk you away to someplace fun..You sound depressed and that is the worst... It is so hard to get out of and when you have so many things on your mind once you forget about one the next one is waiting in line to stress you out more,,,you deserve a break and I hope your family will understand that and give it to you! Hang in there and keep us all updated on how you are doing.. we really do care and want to see you though it!

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers I sure can use them. Coffee I have been on anti-depressents for over 20 years for various reasons and they do help some or I'd be in the luny bin (again). Daisy sometimes I do get in my car just to get away for a few minutes of quiet time but I ususally just cry I havn't tried yelling yet but it sounds like a good idea I just might try that,thanks. I will stay in touch and let you all know how things are going after all I know you all know how I feel and I do know I can count on everyone here for support and advice.Thanks again.

I feel the same way you do not sure why at time but it seems like ever day i get more and more angry. no one around me understands how i feel they all think that im wasting my time. I hurt everyday but today was one of my worse days i had in a while. I cant stand myself because of how i am. when he calls i just want to cry our calls seems to go by so fast it never enough time. But i know the feelings you are feeling right now also the distance makes it even harder my husband and me are over 1600 miles away right now and it hurts even more. keep your head up things will look up for you soon.
