Where Do I Find Printable Puzzles to Mail?

My sweetheart is a smarty pants. :) Where do I find free printable puzzles for him? I found a few but I was hoping some of you could tell me where to look for some more. I've sent him books but figured I could mail 2-3 puzzles in each letter, just to keep him on his toes.

you could also buy themed puzzle books and send him a page or 2 a day. :)

I buy large print puzzle and word find books at the Dollars Stores. It's a game for me, when ever I'm someplace and I see a Dollar store I run in and check. That way when I find one that has a good stock of them, I frequent it. The not so good ones I don't have to go back to. I'm sure any of them have regular print as well. Sometime you can find sports or other special intrest ones as well!

He can't receive pages from books- I sent a few and they were returned to me, labeled "contraband".

riverstar: thanks so much for posting the puzzle links! It will be nice to send something to my hubby, who had his first birthday while in prison recently. I sent a card, letter and a book, but wish I could send more. This will be fun! Can't wait to make a crossword puzzle for him! :)

angeladam: I can't believe they returned the pages to you. cracks me up. my daughter found a candy wrapper that said "may this set you free" or something like that on the inside of it. she saved it and sent it to my husband and they wanted me to pick it up because it was "contraband". I told them to throw it out. Now I wish I had gone and gotten it and taken a picture of it and shown it to him that way. I just thought it was sweet that she wanted him to have it. I guess we just have to find ways around all the b.s. :)

hope: my best investment was an all in one printer. I photocopy the most random things that I have a feeling the mailroom won't allow. they collect by my printer...and when I have enough to copy a whole page, I copy them all together and send in a page. candy wrappers, fortune cookie fortunes, quotes on little scraps of paper....they add up :)

making my own crossword puzzles is SO MUCH FUN! I do them for holidays. I make up random themes...it's a blast. sometimes I feel more challenged making one than I'm sure he is...actually doing the puzzle. :)
