You know maybe it is one of those things that with age comes wisdom. I trust Josh 100%. I dont see him ever cheating on me. He has female friends and I am friends with them as well. I am not insecure about it at all.

Bottomline is that you can stress about what your guy is doing and just know he is going to cheat with that girl friend until he is so stressed he does it to prove you right. Or you can trust your guy and know quite honestly if it is going to happen it will and if it does chances are you wont know a thing about it. I prefer to trust my man and know that he wouldnt do anything like that to me.

I trust my guy in and out of the system. However, the letter the other girl recieved didn't sound like it was just a friends letter. If my guy writes friends (which by the way all his friends are guys anyway) that he had before he went in not a problem. If he makes new ones, there's a problem. Not a HUGE problem, but yes a problem. He doesn't write me very often, and if he's going to take that time then really he should be writing me or his kids. I'm not a jealous person at all. What will be will be, and what won't be just won't be. I know that I can only control myself. Of course my guy and I may be different then most other folks out here. We stay home most of the time, and when we're not at home we're at work or with family at their house. Not out and about. So it's easy to be secure. But even if he went out with the guys it wouldn't bother me. He makes me feel good about myself, he makes me feel secure, and he always makes sure that I'm happy (what he can control anyway).

I certainly fit in the group of enough stress with the rest of my life that obsessing over what my guy does locked up or not really would just send me over the edge..

I guess we all have "rules" we live by and what ideas we have about relationships. What's right for me might not be right for you... All I can say is that I'm happy in my relationship but I"ll be happier when he comes home. :)

I can say I have been married twice. My ex and current have never cheated on me nor have I on them. My ex I left due to our age difference. We never agreed on anything, but there was never an issue of cheating at all. I was with my first for 17 yrs. My current has never even thought of. As far as thinking about my loved one or I going to prison? I never in a million years would have thought this would be a part of my family and our lives. I agree to what you are saying here. I think if you have trust there should be no issues to where, what, when and who. That is what is beautiful about being in a relationship. You are your own person and the person you fell in love with is their own person. That is what bonds two together. What they see in each other. Being a individual as God has made us to be. Now granted we are all human but when trust has been broken then I feel it is time to move on. To gain trust as we all know from walking down the path of the judicial system is hard. Yes we all have stress in our life. Being a loved one of a prisoner is the hardest. Dealing with the emotions that is brought on along with our own daily life is very stressful. I feel though if trust was betrayed there is no love in the relationship and if there is no love how can the relationship grow when the biggest factor of growth has been diminished upon actions that has brought it to that point. I can not see being a enabler to that type of a situation or abuse. I am a much better person than to have someone promise me all the trust & love in the world when that is not really where their intensions are at all. That to me is much needed stress I can do without if this was happening to me.

I can't even count the times I have been cheated on. My man has a lot of proving his self to me. I still have not decided if I want to stick it out because of his past behavior. I dont think he will do it again but I am not sharing anymore. If I catch him even so much as writing a letter to another single female. I will be done!!

Oh, I am not having a good day. To answer your question, I believe you can be cheated on physically (Sex) and emotionally.

I have 2 ex-husbands, both of which cheated on me. But then, since I didn't marry either one of them because I loved them, it didn't matter to me either. I was young and really wasn't looking for love. Now I'm more mature and this time I married because I love my husband. We've talked about this and both have said that infidelity is the one thing that neither of us would tolerate. It would destroy me if he cheated. He says the very same thing. Marriage is a sacred bond between two people and there is no room (or place) for a third person.

Ken and I have had many friends of the opposite sex. I don't understand not trusting the person you are with. If you can't trust them or them you then why are you together.

waiting for him your so right i think you can be cheated on emotionally and physically although i dont know which is worse, if ant had sex ewith another women it would kill me and end my relationship for sure i could see no forgiveness from that. but if he cheated on me emotionally or met someone he connected with on an emotional level more than me even if he didnt have sex with her it would break my heart. its unbearable thinking about. but i will not spend my days worrying about him cheating, if he does then ill deal with it then and believe me it will be his loss!! i will love him every day as much as i can until the day he doesnt want me anymore! ;) xxxxx

My man and I have discussed this for years! To us we've established what cheating is. Any form of flirting, non-friendly touching, neither one of us is the jealous type and we dont stress about what the others doing. I know he doesnt write anyone other than me and family. He has never ever cheated on me. HEs a very loyal person to everyone in his life. I'm very lucky.

i've never been cheated on and I've never cheated. i love my man very much and cant imagine life without him so thats why it breaks my heart to say that although i havent physically cheated i've emotionally cheated cause i've met someone who gives me tons of attention and i cant distinguish between love and lonliness. i've told jasper all this and he says every action has a reaction. he understands but i dont.

Mine has cheated on me numerous times, and I know I am an idiot for still loving him. But he was wonderful for 5 years, then it all went to hell within weeks. He started drinking again, and it seemed to go together. I doubt I will ever trust him, or any other man again. It hurts so much, and I need a shrink to know why I still miss him. I actually am glad he is in prison. 1st because he would of died or killed someone, and 2nd he can't be physically cheating while in there. There is a part of me that worries about him, feels bad he is miserable.The other cheated on part feels he deserves every miserable moment for all he put me through. Plus, maybe this time he will get treatment, and become the guy he used to be.
