I hear ya! Monday I pressed 1 to accept and then the recording was almost finished and call ended :( Crazy stuff happens; I'm sure all is well, no worries :)

Ugh I would be so angry :( but I'm sure he'll understand, these things happen!

@pharrah, I still angry to myself, I stay home in my own pity party because I can’t understand how I did it.. it’s only been 2 1/2 mo and he will be serving 6 yrs. I can’t wait until I can see him which will take a while because he just got to reception. I love him so much that it hurts

f8th...One thing I've learned is not to take those things with a heavy heart because it's going to happen more than once. Shrug it off. He'll understand.

So yea.... D got moved to reception.... Im at work sat at the station for like 3 hours.... You know the phone rang the moment i walked into a patients house! (Im an emt btw) so yup i missed the call amd havent heard anything in about a week just waiting for him to be moved to gen pop so i know hes ok.

It happens this way unfortunately im sure hes not mad amd as you can see you arent the only one who has bad luck with the one call from reception lol im sure hes not mad and he'll call soon!!!! In the meantime get you some headphones! Positive vibes your way!!!

@Ladyjay, thank you, I got a letter and he is not mad , he was sorry it happened and felt bad for me ..looking forward to a call this mo , we will see

I hope you get to talk to him this time around! I'm not sure how the prison system works (my fiance is in a psych hospital so it's a little different), but is there a way you can set up a specific time to call? Like a time of day that you'll always be home even on work days? That helped us a lot because I had the same problem of missing calls at work- he started calling when I had my alarm set in the morning because he knew I wouldn't be at work yet and there's no way on earth I'd get up any earlier than that on my days off haha

I am so excited for f8th4love to get that call. I can't wait to hear how excited she is! lol.

@Pharrah no sometimes they have sign ups so the day before they can tell you the time they will call. And sometimes they can attempt to call at certain times but of course theres always circumstances where that wont happen everyday. Lucky for me we have an understanding about missing calls when im working. He understands that sometimes i get calls and work takes precidence and if i can answer he understands that if a call comes out i have to hang up. But when i can answer i do!

Oh wow, that's really complicated. I'm glad people can at least know in advance so they can try to plan for it, though! I'm sure that helps a lot!
