I don't think we will ever stop missing them less, maybe just maybe dealing with it will get easier. I don't know how we could ever miss them any less the longer they are away and the anticipation of them coming home is so hard to handle because even though there is an end in site it sometimes seems like forever away. Valentine's Day is one of the hardest holidays because it is all about your partner and love and all of that :( although I did get a pretty hand drawn card I hope the rest of you got a phone call, letter or card as well. Here is to hoping time goes by fast and this all gets easier!

:( I definitely agree it has progressively gotten worse for me too. The heartbroken/empty feeling is miserable! Holidays are especially difficult. Didn't get a letter or call but we talked yesterday and have a visit tomorrow, so not too upset about it. I think seeing all these Facebook posts showing how other couples celebrated V-Day got to me though.

today my bday and it sucked my Dad in hospital my guy in prison but my Dad is doing better tho

Yes I haven't stopped missing my love and the holidays are hard but hang on to the hope that one day you will be one of those happy couples on Facebook or in the shops....our day will come ladies even though it dosnt feel like it it will.
Sit down write your man a letter about how you guys could spend this day together.
Hang in there it will be ok.
