Tell him you need to know his ok. As for him haveing the stuff he needs it depends on when they can give it to him. Hear my man only can get canteen stuff on a Wednesday I think it is.

Hi cmorton, I know how that can be agonizing. My husband is disabled and in prison so I called them and told them that I was concerned. I got a call back later from a nurse (he was in prison hospital at first) and she was brief and cold, but she did let me know that he was okay. I sincerely hope that you hear Something soon. I don't have any friends either that understand what the hell i am going thru. His sister and mother have told me they can't believe i am still with him... What the*&^%*????? I am not going to leave my love when he needs me the most... He nearly died last year and I went to the hospital to see him every day. I missed once because I had to take my daughter to a school function, but he was in the hospital for over 4 months. Big hugs to you, and you are not alone. Hope that helps. :)

I have lots of fears tonight. Fear that He's mad at himself. Fears that he's mad at me? for wht I don't k now... Fears that he's hurt... that he's in trouble... I write him and nothing comes back... I know I need to give him time to write... its not like using a cell phone but i literally have no patience.. time doesn't help.. it just makes me more anxious.. I really don't care what they monitor in my letters.. I just don't want him to feel self conscious that he can't talk to me like we always have.. praying that he'll contact me soon. My hopes keep getting shot down when I don't get a letter in the mail.. nights just are unbearable.. I cry and and up all night.. i'm tired during the day and i'm a wreck... I do need to hear something. I might have to contact the jail again to find out if he's alright... I need to know something.. I am completely drained with the suspense...

We all have those fears...just know prison/jail is nothing like what you see on tv my man reackons the worst part is being bord in there they have very little to do in there.
Yes he could be mad at himself for putting you though this and he could also be worried that your going to leave him it takes a bit of reassuring that your going stand by him.
Keep writing I know its hard when you don't get anything back but keep trying.

I don't get to talk to my finance on the phone because the calls are too expensive except maybe once a week. But I write him every day. He doesn't write me much because he doesn't have much to write about. Its the same day in and out for them. But I know he lives for my letters. I decorate them with little drawings, song lyrics, Bible quotes and things. I get to see him every Tuesday. You will get a schedule soon.

I don't know if I'll ever see him... He said he didn't want me to have to see him in there... I told him I wanted to. This was before he was brought to jail. I told him he owes me to let me come see him. I've written two letters and nothing yet... I'm impatient and I am sooo worried that something has happened. He said he'd write me... but my hopes of that happening are slim... All I can do is wait for his court date and hope he will want to acknowledge me... my tears keep me company every day... all day... I'm a mess...

Suchaslife, I know its not like the movies. I have been there too. I was there when I was 16 because the judge wanted to scare me. I was terrified for a week and could not have access to my family. Regardless, I've never gone back since. I've been in some trouble since then but nothing to date that would get me time in prison... hopefully...
