Having a loved one incarcerated or having been incarcerated comes with its own unique challenges that require support and understanding. I have been trying to find groups to help find my son ways to put his story out to the public. He thinks if people hear it, that we can get help to get him a lesser sentence. I start out searching for sites on line. It gets so confusing. I feel overwhelmed and I can't keep focused. He keeps saying I am all he has to ever have a chance of getting out of prison. I feel like I'm not helping him the way I could. If I could just figure out how to do this, I might be able to help him. I tried looking for pro bono attorneys and no luck with that. He only has a year to file his motions to the court. Does anyone know how to put his story out to the public? Both the attorneys he had said they couldn't believe he got such a harsh sentence and thought he would win the appeal. That didn't happen. I need to keep his hope up, he is giving up on himself. Please help if you can

They helped with petitions to get this man freed. If it can be done from here to a man in North Korea, it can be done to help your son here. So many stories of people falsely accused, or other reasons they need to get out, and millions of people see this and so many do sign. Try it.
