I'm glad they caught him, sorry for the girls. The internet even scares me sometimes and I'm 32! This article really breaks my heart.

This is a very-very decent little town not to far away from me. Pretty scary that these guys can take advantage of young kids, oh, and its not only guys, women are known to do this also. I'm not out to offend any one if they have a loved one on the inside due to this nature of a crime, I'm so sorry if I did. I just wanted to share this all with you, we as parents need to teach our kids about this world, its not all about roses, and the bad people still do exsist. These kids do they need love that bad that they turn to strangers, and to invite some one into your home at age 13, its so sad, really sad.

the world is made up of all types and we must teach our children to be aware and watch their own behaviors - we talk about how smart our kids are then we say "they are just kids" we must continue to teach no matter how smart they appear to be or how many times they hear the same stuff - the world itself is a dangerous place and the internet is more dangerous than the world - i for one monitor my daughter's myspace site almost daily - not being nosey just being cautious - praise God they caught this guy and i am so said for these girls - the only good that can come out of this is lessons learned for other young people - thank you for posting - this needs to be shared and discussed with parents and their children

13, so sad. I didn't even think you could have a my space at 13. My heart goes out to her and her friend. I am so glad my children are all grown. I hate to think about how hard it will be for the newer generation. My children 17,23, and 26 will face many challanges. This is horriable. Where were her parents????? The guilt they must be feeling....so sad. Everytime someone makes a mistake and goes to prison, or jail so many people get hurt. Breaks my heart as well.
