It is unfortunately normal. I the same thoughts go on abd be warned the whole will he go back in has at least for me hanged around.
All what can say is try not to give those thoughts to much of your time.

I feel ya.
I have my good days and then I have days where my mind plays tricks on me and tells me I'm completely insane and that falling in love with K will bring me nothing but misery.

Nope, not alone! I've loved my husband for 25 years and not loving him is not a option! I have friends, family who think I'm crazy to stand by him, even our oldest son has issues with it, doesn't understand but...I know who he really is! Yes, it was a huge fall, big screw up, totally out of left field, kids thought of him as perfect, their hero! Secrets kept from them for all their lives, image preserved....now totally shattered! Ya, its hard and there are days when I ask myself....wth am I doing?! He ruined our lives, our future, we lost everything but....my heart aches for him! He is my life....we will have to start over, it will be difficult, our future was secure, mapped out, solid now....no clue! Its scary as can be but I know as long as he is by my side....all things are possible!

I just joined today and its crazy your post was the first one I seen , I've been having the same type of thoughts. Makes me feel better knowing I'm not the only woman who has those thoughts. I don't talk to anyone about my emotions or thoughts or anything(hopefully joining helps) so I kinda been having to "fix" my way of thinking myself. I started doing little projects , right now its sanding and restaining an old table , last week i made my mom a rock garden, i have found that keeping myself busy keeps my mind from wondering . And it makes time go by a bit faster and easier. Idk if that will help you but give it a try .... Keep your head up ,everything will be ok

Alexgirl...it helps to be able to vent, talk, cry.....with people who get it! I've only recently joined myself so....yes, keeping busy does help! In fact...just got done painting a wall! I try to work as often as I can to not be home alone! Weekends are rough, those were our time, family time....we used to ride our motorcycle all over the place....I miss that more then I can say! Each time I see riders out on the road now I wanna cry! Bedtime....ya not a fan! I go to bed way later then we used too and get up way past my normal time but....it is what it is! I do the best I can, each day is different, some ok, some awful but....I have 8 more years to go so....maybe it gets better!

If this the whole bad thoughts, not sleeping thing gets to much it can trun into depression please please talk to your doctor make them aware of what your going through that way they can keep a eye on your mental health....faking to make it only works for so long.

Suchaslife ...I have, my doc is a friend and takes good care of me. Was on antidepressants at first, made me gain nearly 20lbs! Depressed over that....but...I do ok for the most part.....good&bad days....

Yes yes yes there's nothing wrong with going to a doc and/or happy pills, I mean meds. I'd be a basket case and going postal on folks if I didn't have my happy pills :P I'd already had depression/anxiety before this and this kicked my anxiety up a notch.

I feel ya as we have 9 1/2 more years to go. Hang in there they can't keep him forever! My bestie (thanks B :)) told me that when I'd get really down.

Missumuch iam glad your doctor is a friend yes some happy pills can do that and they did it to me too so now i work out and it makes me feel better it also helps me to sleep......ive only just been able to find a doctor who has helped me but it took almost going over the edge to get it.

GB yes, I needed them at first just to function! It was awful, I couldn't stop crying, sleep was impossible! I tell myself the same, life will go on, will go back to....a new normal! He will come home....but....still is hard, very hard at times! Helps having people who know what it feels like!

Yes its hard but think his now another day closer to coming home, see they can't stop time its the one of the few things they can't stop! Also another way to look at is when his home wich he will be those co's that made life shit for both of you will still be at that place!

Good point! We talk daily, that helps a lot! Today will be rough.... prom night for our youngest and Dad is not here to see it :( I will put on a happy face but....lord it will suck!!! Graduation of course around the corner...ya, try not to dwell on that!
