I haven't been around or a few days because I can't seem to get out of this funk I'm in. My son left this morning to start his sentence and my heart is once again broken. Instead of my family coming together and supporting one another my D-in-L isn't speaking to me because of my addict daughter. She and my son want her out of the house and I'm having a hard time with that. They have two daughter's who they don't want around Auntie and I can't blame them, somehow I always end up in the middle. My son told me he doesn't want me to go see him and he isn't going to call, so that means I won't see ot talk to him for about 3 months. I am about at the end of my rope between my son, my daughter and my husband, I thought I wa getting contrl of my life but I feel like someone just punched me in the stomache and knocked the wind out of me.
I know I need to take my life back and I really though I was beginning to but when my son left it all changed, besides the fact that my daughter isn't making any progress with her addiction. I feel like I've taken a giant step backwards and all I want to do is stay in bed an wallow in my misery,

You have tough decisions ahead of you that I believe are necessary to regaining your life. I know it's hard With all the negativity, but please try to remain positive and know that you will take the steps necessary to get positive change in your life.
Just recently I started taking control of the little things in my life. The little I've put into place plus my dreams for later are empowering me.
Something else is sure to come along and dash it all but I do feel that if I keep taking taking charge of what I can, something positive will stick.
