Ok my favorite one is us sitting on the beach at night under a blanket snuggle up a just talking.
And our first visit oddly enough :)
@angela that's so very sweet.
My favorite memory tho of the many many fond memories is when he would just walk up and for no reason , kiss me on the forehead , he would bend down and just give me a kiss , for no reason ... I miss that so terribly ...
We drove the 60 miles, me still not thinking it was actual labor (we had a false alarm the week before where the pains stopped as soon as we made it into town) and him driving as calmly as he could with me cursing every little bit.
When we got there they admitted me, and said that they'll take a look and if I wasn't at a three, they would let me go. I have a thing where I won't show pain when i'm with strangers so even while a contraction was happening I just closed my eyes and smiled to make it through. They got me in a room and checked. The nurse then got up and said lets get you to a birthing room, you're at a six. Within an hour I was at a 8 and in another hour I was pushing.
I'll admit that during my whole pregnancy I didn't really feel connected, but the moment she cried for the first time, my tears started flowing. And then when she was in Daddy's arms as he was handing her to me, there was so much emotion rushing through me. We were a family ( a week earlier than planned). And the love I felt then just trumps every other moment we've ever had together. I'm starting to tear up just remembering that day. It's was one of those days where you think that you could never be happier than you were right then.
