how long usually is the punishment for these type of crimes. It is really hard to state. Lately the punishment that the District Attorneys have been laying down have been pretty harsh. I do not want to scare but only give you the realization that he could be doing some serious time.
You have come to the right place for support. Our community here will help guide you through this walk of the unknown. Remember to take care of you and keep your strength as you are going to need it for you, your children and your husband. I hope that he does come to the realization that he can do better for all of you than what he has done that has taken himself away from you all. Hang in there and post as often as you need. Whether it is to ask questions or vent. We are all here to support you through this.
We have people from all over the globe, all walks of life, all loving, beautiful people who care. We have single moms to be, moms to be, grandmas to be, probably even great grandmas to be, and my favorite newly wedded or brides to be. Even some dads but rare.
Best of all, no matter who they are want to help you to get thru this and they understand.
You will find many who want to help you thru this time. Our prayers and good wishes sent your way!
Love Rhea
It's tough times right now... Its so hard going home knowing he won't be there to welcome me home. At night, we just think that he is just at work coz he used to work at night... but waking up also is hard knowing he is not coming home... I know that things will get better and that this might be very helpful for him to think things through.... I just hope that I will have all the strenght that I need to go on... its hard being single parent and pregnant at the same time. My kids are small and its hard not to cry seeing them and reminding me how happy we used to be....
Did I mention this isn't all what we are going through???? my husband was never good opening up or talking about emotions, he hate seeing me cry and so he tries to be away when he knows im being too emotional... of course that drives me crazy, made me think he doesnt care but i think it makes him feel like he can't give me the world and he hates himself for that... He lost his job early this year and we started having financially difficulties which includes going to be losing our house. By end of December, our house is going on foreclosure... I know how much he tries to make money, even if it means doing illegal stuff.... selling drugs, gambling, i dunno what else because of course he will not tell me anything... because he is not proud of it, just wanting to be my hero... and of course u know how it all end now... if he gets lock up then i dunno what else to do when the bank will finally kick us out of our house... I have families i can run too but they do have their own problem that i don't want to bother them with mine, I just really dont know what to think first...
Though Josh wasnt doing anything illegal to gain money for our household he was out working sometimes 60+ hours a week to get everything we wanted and it was tough. Now however with this time apart we have opened up to each other and our relationship is on a different better level, a better stronger level.
I know this doesnt help with where you are in your housing situation and I really wish that I knew what any of us could do to help with that but I dont. Just know that there are people here to support you and try to keep your heart and your mind open to what could possibly be in your future. Perhaps this is the path that has to happen for the greater good of your lives. It is difficult to know why we have to go through these times that hurt us so much but a lot of it is fear of not knowing what that other path is going to be like.
I think that a lot of things with his charges depend upon your states laws as well as the mood of the judge and the DA and only experiencing these things will tell you what your next steps with your husbands freedom or lack of will bring.
And never forget that we are here even if you just need to whine, scream, cry, vent, laugh we will be here for you.

It was a happy moment for me yesterday and I still cannot believe it... I guess all the prayers were heard and I cannot thank each and everyone of you enough to show my great appreciation.....
I went to the court yesterday waiting to see him and see his arraignment. When they started letting people in, the lady said she is going to call out names of the people the DA are not pressing charges to.... only 3 people were called and the last name called was my husband.... I didnt know what to feel at that moment, I had already told myself that he will not be home for Thanksgiving and possibly christmas but didnt not think he would be home with us that night....
With the 4 big charges that was given to him when he got arrested I dunno how he got lucky and got release... all i can be right now is be very thankful... GOD IS GOOD!!!!
When he got home and saw the kids, it was very emotional... the guy who is always affraid to open up and never want to show tears started bawling like a baby and he didnt care if the kids or I see it...
Thank you so much for all the support you guys have given me this past few days.... I find myself reading so many great stories and encouragement all those times i couldn't sleep at night that help me get by.... You are all in my prayers from now and forever... thank you thank you thank you!!!!
You are in my prayers.
