On this day one year ago , my brother and bet friend, self surrendered to start his sentence. It was a long horrible day, trying to keep busy and keep my mind off of it but spending most of the day in the bathroom getting sick. Waiting for the call that he was in and fine, which did not come for 3 days. The only good thing was that I lost 12 lbs that week.LOL
So here I am one year later, stronger and so confident that when this is done, I will get my best friend back and he will be as strong and successful as he was before all of this. They can not break his spirit, I am a witness to that. I didn't think that while he was in I would still be able to share some laughs with him, but it happened.
One good thing that has come out of all of this mess, is that he now knows that he can always count on me. I always told him that but wasn't able to show him.A bond between a brother and sister is one of the strongest bonds in life and the BOP could not break it.
I am so thankful to see this yr done and that his sentence is nearing the end. I am gonna celebrate today that the year is done and not focus on what is left, just for today.

thanks to all the ladies on here that were so helpful and wonderful to me when I first came on here and was a real mess...this group is a wonderful support I did not realize you could really get off the internet, but it works!!!
