Last week we were talking, I heard some noise like tables or chairs shuffled around, then yelling, then someone yelled sit your ass down, and the phone went dead. I figured it was a fight, and he wasn't involved, he never is, and was on the phone. But as unfair as it seems they all get locked down for several hours.
Depends on what went down how long they have to go to their cells. I pace and worry too until he finally gets to call. He gets pretty perturbed with how they treat everyone when two idiots are the only one causing problems usually. BUT we don't know what could happen if they didn't send them to their rooms. It's also a safety factor.
They also get locked down if something needs to be repaired. Can't have them around the people repairing things that have tools. There are a few men in there that could steal them and be dangerous.
I hope yours calls you today. I do know the worry it causes. Just went through it yesterday. We were talking, then bam, it hung up. I paced for hours til he called. The phones just stopped working. They had to get a technician out to fix them, then the lines are long people trying to use them again.
Hope this helped.
So every worst case scenario is running through my head. Most of them are completely ridiculous and would have a 0.00000001% chance of happening. But still it's all I can think about. What if he's sick or hurt? Ladies who've dealt with this much longer than I, how do you keep your sanity? Luckily I can visit him on Saturday since it's only 3 hours away but that seems like ages from now when you don't know!
I never heard of freezing their accounts. I don't know why they would do that. I would CALL them and ask about it. You can maybe get answers, or let them be aware you do know that they did it. I would then call your state department of corrections headquarters and talk to them about this Seems wrong.
Go above his prison personnel, and see what happens.
