Glad you found us and joined in. We are always here to try to help. We don't mind if you rant and rave and cry and gripe.. cause we do to. You have to let it out to make you feel better.

We're glad you are here but sorry we're meeting under these circumstances. This is a great community of supportive people who are here to listen and encourage.

Please join us alot. It really has helped so many of us. We get it. We know what you are going through. I couldn't of survived these last 3 years without all these special people, and other times when my son and fiance were in too. I am a long timer on here.

You will never get the understanding and support from people on the outside that have no one in prison or never have. But what they don't realize it COULD be them at any minute. We didn't think we would ever experience this, did we?

I am glad you are here, and I can bet that in a short while you will be very glad too.

We will all help each other get through our ordeals. Mine is coming home REAL soon, but its been 3 years of hell that I couldn't of gotten through without you all.

The waiting, worrying, and being frustrated and lonely is terrible. But the people on here make us feel better, sometimes even make us smile and laugh out loud. Hugs to you all. Hugs to all the new people that find this site.

Thanks all. It's been challenging. I thought going through trial was hard, but this part is harder. Can't talk daily like we did when he was in county, can only see him once a week, and still no contact visits and the kids are not allowed to see him because he "dangerous" - shoot he's only dangerous if someone tried to hurt his family.

I have been trying to be there and support him and encourage him, but it has been draining at times. I also sometimes get frustrated with him, even though I know he is going through a lot more than I could even imagine.

Hi thought! I am the wife of a so-called sex offender. Similar to your story my husband was advised to plead guilty to avoid jail time. However he was sentenced to 60 months and the alleged victim has also admitted to lying after the fact. We are down to the last 6 months of a very long sentence. I was angry, depressed, all of the emotions you can imagine. But then I realized I know the truth, God knows the truth and the "victim" knows the truth. I have prayed very hard and often for God to restore my Joy. Place your faith in God and not our justice system.

Mine is a so called sex offender too. Not a real one. Only a man convicted because of a vindictive woman that wanted him to sign over his parental rights so her new husband could be the father. And only because he had a terrible public defender that also told him to take the plea bargain, that he would serve very little time, and then it would be all over. This was right before they started making them register all the time as sex offenders. He did not tell him that the new law would start by the time his last court hearing was and they would apply to him. The so called victim has called him telling him she wants her brother to know him and to know the truth. She never actually testified. Her mother did, and lied and lied. The judge even knew it. He called her on it. BUT sometimes DA's have more power than judges. This was a DA on a mission to become a person in politics in high places. Sex offenders are a thing that makes them popular and win votes if they blast their successful cases of incarcerating anyone for a sex offense. Whether it is true or not.
Many sex offenders did nothing!!! I try and try to get people to listen to that. Only the ones that have experienced it know what I am saying is true. What they don't know is at any moment, THEY or someone they know could be wrongfully accused and convicted.
