I can't imagine how I would feel to find out he was having heart problems, I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this without getting to talk to him about it. I'm happy he had the administrator call you to let you know he's okay.. Keep us updated!
Luckily when mine went in, he did it after our visit. I was worried all the way home because he usually calls while I am driving, but he called later the next morning. I was not that worried like you have been because I was unaware of what had happened.
He had been very miserable and nauseated during our visit. I thought he had the flu, or indigestion. That's all. That concerned me, but just figured he would lay down and be ok.
But when he said right after I left, they had rushed him into a van and drove him to the hospital, I was furious. I was probably still in that town. But of course I would try to hijack the prison van or something or kidnap him out of the hospital while on IV's. The more I thought about it after I knew, the more mad I got. He could of died, and they didn't tell me. When there is a heart problem, we don't know if they will be ok or not. And these people may be taking the last chance for us to see them, or they may be making decisions for them, if they can't, that we should have the right to make.I don't care about their stupid rules, they should have to call us. I talked to the guards later, and they said they don't have to call us, that we would figure out that they died when they don't call us. WOW how does a person live with themselves being like that to other human beings?
I am glad you got some answers, and I understand that he didn't want to worry you, but oh boy, they don't know us at all if they think keeping things from us, and having us sit and wait and worry isn't worse than knowing.
