I am jealous you got to visit yours. I'm still waiting for the application. I know it would be hard going to see him and not being able to touch him but I want to anyways... I'm glad you saw yours.. It sucks we have to go through all the separatiion.. I miss mines' warmth and love too.. but I;m waiting.. just like you are.. the day will come ...

It took me 3 months to finally get approved to visit, but even then it was only 1 hr non-contact visits like at county jail. We have only had non-contact visits for the past 16 months.

Today was a celebration because they stayed off being locked down again that would have prevented this visit today. Just take everything one step at a time.

When you do finally get to visit, you will be so happy! that you wont care that there is still a partition, and that you too will be able to have those contact visits after reception.

i'm thrilled to hear of your visit! 4 hours is great :) I hear so many places have visits that are shorter than that. It's wonderful that you had such a good time. I hope your next visit comes soon!

We got 5 hours, 7 days a week if we wanted to. Towards the end, we never lasted 5 hours. We knew he would be home soon. Frankly our butt's hurt from sitting that long on hard chairs, and I left after 3. But I went 3 times a week.

i am so happy for u a 4 hr visit how great is that and a contact its really amazing and drives are long but worth it i drive 41/2 hr to and back another 41/2 and only get a 2 hr visit no contact but its worth the tired drives lol well thats really great to hear i am super happy for u :)

i am so happy for you!!!! I know it was an amazing feeling getting to hug and kiss him after so long. My husband and i get 4 hr visits also once a week and its great getting to hug and kiss him. Rightn now hes back at the county for court so we are back to 15 min non contact visits until he goes back i hate the non contact visits they suck ughhhhh....

it really makes no since at all you go to a prison and get contact visits but go to a county jail at get 15 min noncontact ugh so awful lol...sorry im through venting....but anyways im so happy for you!!!!

He's back in court? Due to appeal, I hope. If mine was transferred back to county, I would concidered it a blessing because I could visit 2x's a week and get calls every day (but no less than 45 min visits).

It is a wonderful feeling to sit next to him an talk freely. Even he is floating on air due to our visit. He was even lucky and able to call me today (even though only allowed 1 call a month). However some guards allow more calls if you behave and don't cause problems.
