I want to order a pizza!! LOL! Seriously, I know we all are making extreme sacrifices to support our loved ones. It can really take a toll on us emotionally - physically - FINANCIALLY (that is my current cross to bear). Just wondering what little pleasure you all might indulge in, if given the chance.
I'd like to go shopping and just buy SOMETHING - a new purse a shirt... I'd also LOVE to go to an actual RESTAURANT and have a meal (not my usual soup or cheese sandwiches, LOL!). An actual MEAL prepared FOR me by someone else, SERVED to me by someone else and then, for heaven's sake CLEANED UP by someone else!! Im sitting here fantasizing about this! Wow, I guess Im finally cracking up haha.
What would you all do???

Not cracking up at all. I would love to do a lot of things as well. I remeber those days pulling out money or a card was so easy to do when ever I wanted. Those days are totally gone. If I could do any thing that would be getting totally pampered for one day. A messege, manicure, pedicure, hair and lunch to go with it. Then to go shopping for some new clothing. It will all come back someday. I will just await that day.

I actually have made the decision to try to buy a new shirt or outfit if I can afford it at least once a month for my visit. I want to go every weekend to see him (last weekend was the first this weekend is questionable with car troubles). So that will be my little pleasure. It's also my summer wardrobe builder.

If I could indulge myself it would be on a pedicure. That would feel so good, but if I did that right now I would feel guilty for spending the money. But I am going to soak in the tub and do a pedicure myself. I guess that will have to do for now.

I should add that this months pleasure buy will be getting my truck fixed ASAP so that I can visit my guy again... Now I have to hope and pray the mechanics can fix it in one day. Thank God I didn't spend my money or pay the bills yet.. LOL

I do for myself. I work hard, I support me and three kids and currently my neice and all our pets. I always make sure the kids have what they need, the pets are taken care of and my man has plenty of money for food and phone. So I decided that I would not go without too. I bought myself a few new clothes and today I went and got my hair highlighted!! WooHoo!!! It felt good! Then I got me some KFC!!

There are a few things I would like to do but can't. But this month I have to spend a little money that I dont have on my granddaughter, her first birthday is coming up in a couple weeks. I want to try to still make it special for her.

I feel the same way. Just the little things like a pizza sounds great!!! It's amazing how tight things are once it's down to one income.

I know exactley how everyone feels! I am working 2 full-time jobs,16hours a day and I still don`t have any money for myself!!! I would LOVE to get my nails done but insted I put that $35 on the phone!!! I also feel guilty as hell for spending anything on myself!! Gas for the car is about the extent of it...LOL!

I would LOVE to go to the hair salon. Right now I'm treating my hair at home...and let me tell you...THAT isn't working very well. I spend most of my time in a wig, believe it or not. Hair salons are expensive, especially for afro-centric hair such as mine! Boo to that. Seems that something is always coming up that requires $$$!

I want a mani-pedi desperately. But with moving into a new place and all the $$ I have spent for phone calls, gas, and his commisary, it's not happening for a looooong time. At least I am able to still provide for my kids!

I would have a facial. I love them and used to ahve them once a month, til I got layed off of my nice paying job. Oh well, I still have my love!

I would hire a babysitter just so I could have some quiet time to myself for a couple of hours.

i would take the money and use it to go see my son, and/or save it (??) to ensure a better life for him, for us, once he's home...
