i am looking for information for a book that i am writing. I am not a prison wife or girlfriend. I am writing a book about a young girl who was abused by her parents and foster parents, she gets involved with someone in prison and she falls into his trap of drugs etc.

I am just looking into some insight about what its like being a prison girlfriend or wife.

Try prison talk and read the posts here.
It will be hard for you to understand because your not going through it........and by the way not all guys in prison use girls i think for memory i only saw two men who did that. So loss the idea that guys use girls in there.
Sorry but that line of thinking really pisses me off.

This is off the subject but my son has been incarcerated for 3 years and in January will be released to a half way house. Does anyone know anything about the half way houses in Utah?

Honestly.. I think this is the wrong place to look for stuff for a book you're writing.. How completely insensitive can you be? These are people grieving the loss of a loved one in prison... Not a place to find material for a freaking book.... How f*cking rude
